Regarding the Yen, if the Bank of Japan raises interest rates that would cause the Yen to decrease (compared to dollar), however that would increase the interest rate on the on Japan large deficit thus eventually hurt the Yen. Is that understanding correct. Could you clarify the Chinese Yaun carry trade and its relationship to the Hong Kong dollar, if the interest rates are cut in United States dollar?
